“Life is better when you are laughing” is a saying that sums up my personality. In my twenties not only did I become a mother but also a carer for my disabled grandmother, all before qualifying as a family law solicitor. From then on, I seem to always be trying to take care of other people’s business. My way of dealing with difficult circumstances has been to rely on humour, which can seem almost impossible some days, but it, together with a slice of cake, has helped me try to maintain a positive mental attitude.
Having had some car crash relationships myself and witnessed the choices my friends, family and sometimes clients have made and the result of those choices, I learned valuable lessons which I now share with you in a sometimes humorous way. Not to tell you what to do, but hopefully, by laughing at us, you can save yourself from some of life’s drama.
"Justice verses life is a fantastic read full of witty humour that had me laughing out loud on many occasions.
A wonderful book of poems that will resonate with every person who reads it. One of the best reads I have had in a long time & I really cannot wait to see what Ms Campbell comes out with next."
